What patients say
739 on GoogleOur experience at Maxilife Hospital, Ulhasnagar, was highly stressful and disappointing. My grandmother was admitted here early morning after being referred from Siddhivinayak Hospital, Badlapur, where we were told her pulse was around 40 and that she was at serious risk. However, upon reaching Maxilife, her pulse was recorded at approximately 70, despite no medical intervention during transit. Despite this, we were immediately told that she had a weak heart and that she urgently needed a pacemaker. This information was conveyed in a way that created intense fear and emotional distress for our family. What was even more concerning was that although the situation was described as “urgent,” the cardiologist did not arrive for nearly 12 hours after admission. During this entire period, we were still being pressured toward the pacemaker decision. We paid approximately ₹35,000 for admission and related charges during this time. Due to growing doubts, we arranged for her transfer later that day to Shivaji Government Hospital, Kalwa (Thane), which has a dedicated cardiology department. After proper evaluation and review of the same reports, the doctors there clearly stated that all reports were normal, her condition was stable, and no pacemaker was required at this stage. A pacemaker is a permanent, invasive, and expensive procedure. Recommending it without timely specialist evaluation and proper long-term monitoring is extremely concerning. The sharp contradiction between hospitals for such a major decision raises serious questions about medical judgment and ethics. Hospitals are trusted at moments of extreme vulnerability. Unfortunately, instead of clarity and reassurance, we experienced fear, pressure, and confusion. I strongly advise patients and families to seek multiple opinions before agreeing to any invasive cardiac procedure at this hospital.
I recently had surgery at Maxlife Hospital, Ulhasnagar for a left-hand fracture. The doctors handled the surgery professionally and the nursing staff was supportive throughout the process. The hospital facilities were clean and the cashless insurance process was managed smoothly. However, there is room for improvement in reducing waiting time for formalities and providing clearer communication about admission and discharge timelines. Overall, I appreciate the care provided by the medical team and thank them for their support during my treatment.
I am very disappointed with the staff behavior at this hospital. The nurses and reception staff were rude and unhelpful. There was no proper communication, and we felt ignored during a stressful time. Hospitals should prioritize patient care and basic courtesy, which was clearly lacking here.
They don't even deserve a star for the services provided.Warning spl to cghs and insurance cashless treatment they gonna admit you but during discharge there's a lot of process management is quite poor they won't work until you shout at them . Nurse and staff coordination is zero. Not experienced and professional at all. We got a twin sharing room still they admitted other patient without our consent . Money minded people Doctors are good but no one cares here about hygeine patients need they lack professionalism . Hoping forward that they meet the demands soon either to expand the infrastructure or give the best care to the ones who are already there. Anyways you are making money do it ethically and morally.
