What patients say
30,350 on GoogleI would like to place on record my heartfelt gratitude to Sister Snehalata Mishra of CMRI for the extraordinary care she extended to my mother, Mrs. Sheela Ganguly (88 years). My mother had to be rushed to the hospital on 17th December 2025, where she underwent a PEG tube insertion procedure under Dr. Anirban Chatterjee. I am deeply grateful to Dr. Anirban Chatterjee and his entire medical team for conducting the procedure with such skill and ensuring that it was handled with utmost care and minimal discomfort. I wish to especially acknowledge Sister Snehalata Mishra, whose humane approach, tenderness, and patience were deeply reassuring during a difficult moment for our family. My mother is extremely fragile and struggles with cognitive issues, yet Sister Snehalata handled her with remarkable compassion — almost as one would comfort and care for a child. Even after discharge, when our caregivers contacted her over the phone for guidance, she responded with the same kindness and clarity, helping them manage my mother’s care with confidence. In every sense, Sister Snehalata truly honors the profession of nursing and healthcare. Our family will remain eternally grateful for her compassion, dedication, and humanity.
The seniors are very good. They help us very much. They teach us to hold our work or do not understand it again. Security guards are very good. When we have something, everything shows and says. We came here to know and learned a lot to practice what we did theory. Bed Capability is very good here. Doctors and nurses provide Very Good Treatment. Housekeeping kept clear very well.
I was admitted here for pharyngitis treatment and feel compelled to share my experience. One of the senior doctor, especially above 45, display concerning arrogance and lack of patient respect. While many doctors handle fewer than 500 IPD/OPD patients, My professors manage over 2,000 daily with professionalism and humility. During my admission, I advised my father to wear a mask as I was unsure of my infection, and he also had a fever. Since my father had coronary issues he tends not to wear masks. The Resident Medical Officer was polite and attentive. However, a senior doctor insulted my father, saying, “Jor asle bari te thakben poribarer lokeder dekhte aste hbe naa more gele deke dewa hbe.” My counter would have been: “Nijer bari te baba nei? Apni step by step test korchen toh eto ohonkae kiser.” The doctor in question was Sujoy Mukherjee, Internal Medicine. For anyone seeking treatment, I strongly recommend hospitals with modern infrastructure and professional conduct, such as Manipal Hospitals or Medica Hospitals. No patient should endure insults; a doctor who cannot respect even their own father cannot truly respect patients. Moral accountability should be enforced, and licenses should be suspended or revoked when ethical standards are violated. Treating doctor’s registrations details should be provided on the website which should have been done earlier prior to IT Act.
Dear Hospital Management Team, Yesterday I visited your hospital, which is ranked among the top hospitals in Kolkata according to Google rankings. During my visit to the 1st floor, I noticed something that surprised me. The evacuation plan has been installed behind the reception area (opposite Room No. 39). As far as I know, evacuation plans are meant to help people quickly understand exit routes during emergencies. The current placement may not be ideal. I also observed that the main corridor is being used as a waiting area. In emergency situations, corridors should remain clear to allow safe and quick evacuation. I am sharing some photos of this with you for your consideration. Since your hospital is among the top hospitals in Kolkata, it is very important to maintain the highest safety standards. I hope the management team will review this matter and take appropriate action if necessary.
