Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital

I have been visiting Agarwals Eye Hospital Vellayambalam Trivandrum for the last few years and consulting Dr Jay Mathew Perumal for my wife Meera’s eye affected by Glaucoma. We have been getting the very best advice and treatment from the Doctor all these years and also very good service from the support staff every time we visit the hospital. On 30th December 2025 my wife underwent Cataract surgery and Trabeculectomy surgery for Glaucoma simultaneously by Dr Jay Mathew. The pre-surgery tests a week before was very smooth including the counselling for the surgery and we could complete all these formalities with minimum waiting period. Yesterday the two surgical procedures were performed by Dr Jay Mathew at the appointed time and we were very professionally guided by the support staff at the Reception desk and Counselling section. Ms. Saranya at the counselling was exceptionally helpful in this regard. Without any tension or anxiety we could go through the procedures and we are very grateful to the Hospital for the excellent experience. Last but not the least, we are really happy to mention that we were able to get the best service from this hospital, be it the Doctor or the support staff , every time with the minimum waiting period. This Eye care facility is very clean, hygienic and well equipped with a very professional touch. I would recommend this hospital without hesitation for anyone who has eye related issues.

I had my refractive lens exchange at Dr Agrawal Eye Hospital, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The hospital staff were kind, professional, and very organized, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. A special thank you to Dr Jay Mathew, who was incredibly reassuring and took the time to explain every step clearly. The procedure was quick, and my recovery was much easier than I expected. My vision is now clearer than it has been in years, truly life changing. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone with eye problems. I would also like to sincerely thank Adarsh and Saranya for their counselling and full support. They were patient, kind, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. Their guidance before and after the procedure really helped me feel at ease.

Not the best experience, the appointment system needs improvement. I have been there on time and the doctor doesn't seem to be present. The number present on the card is the correct one apparently.

Very good service and responses at Dr Agarwal Hospital Vellayambalam . As I was a bystander to my friend Mr Shajahan M, all clarifications and treatment were done very meticulously. The counselling was excellent especially the way Ms Saranya handled the patient. Right from the activity from reception till coming out from the OT, it was a very friendly approach with utmost care to the patient.
